Aperflu® FFKM compounds combine the near-universal chemical resistance of PTFE with the resilience of an elastomer — delivering reliable, long-life sealing where conventional rubbers fail.
Engineered for semiconductor, chemical processing, energy and aerospace service at continuous temperatures up to 300 °C.
Aperflu® is a family of high-performance perfluoroelastomers (FFKM). In the polymer backbone every hydrogen atom is replaced by fluorine, forming highly stable C–F bonds, while perfluorinated ether side groups provide the low-temperature flexibility and elasticity essential to a rubber.
Grade system covers 200–300 °C post-cure and service windows, verified by compression-set testing at up to 300 °C × 70 h.
Effectively inert to acids, alkalis, solvents, amines, plasma and the majority of process media.
As low as 6% after 200 °C × 70 h and 17% at 300 °C × 70 h — seals stay live for the long term.
Tensile strength up to 23.1 MPa with hardness options from 68 to 74 Shore A for a wide range of seal designs.
Typical values from the Aperflu FFKM datasheet — tested to GB/T and ASTM standards.
Aperflu 3075 validated at 300 °C × 70 h, with short-term peaks above this level.
Aperflu 2675 delivers the family's highest tensile strength with 180% elongation — a balanced package.
Aperflu 2675 shows just 6% set after 200 °C × 70 h — outstanding sealing recovery.
Multiple hardness options for O-rings, gaskets, valve seats and other seal geometries.
Aperflu 3175 stretches to 224% — ideal for wide-tolerance grooves and complex assembly.
Aperflu 3275 pairs an 8% compression set with 145% elongation — stable yet compliant.
Five compounds, complete property set — tested to GB/T and ASTM standards.

Wherever conventional fluoroelastomers give up, that is where Aperflu earns its place.
O-rings for wafer etch, CVD and plasma tools — resisting plasma attack and aggressive process gases.
Dynamic and static seals for pumps, valves and reactors — no swelling in strong acids, alkalis or solvents.
Downhole, steam and H₂S-containing service — meeting heat and chemical attack at the same time.
Engine-adjacent and fuel-system seals holding reliable rebound across wide temperature and media excursions.
Downtime in a fab, a refinery or a flight-critical system costs far more than the seal itself.
Low compression set at 200–300 °C means seals keep their recovery — fewer unplanned shutdowns.
A fully fluorinated backbone shrugs off the acids, amines and solvents that destroy FKM and other rubbers.
From low-set static sealing to high-elongation dynamic grooves — pick the compound that matches the duty, not the other way round.
